May be the first time I have used this word at DU, I try to be temperate in speech.
Here Jeffery Lord, a mindless sycophantic bloviating idiot that CNN employs compares Donald Trump to Dr. Martin Luther King.
If you thought that comparisons with Hitler was the bottom of the barrel these idiots have drilled through the floor are heading to the Earth core with Dr. King comparisons.
What is wrong with these people? What sociopathic or psychological disease motivates these people. I could only read a few words and listen for a few seconds to the video.
These are the most shameless scoundrels to have showed their face since the KKK.
CNN if you keep this man you have trivialized yourself into meaningless dribble.

(374 posts)I had to walk away from the TV. I can't believe CNN keeps Lord CrazyTime on. There has got to be some kind of line drawn with these crazy Trump surrogates. Blurs the line of being objective or balanced versus complicit with fake news to hear those surrogates speaking. Cheese and rice, are they all on President Putin's payroll?

(374 posts)And I too have been limiting my CNN airtime due to the Trump ignorant repugnant supporters tgey signed on.
I am constantly flipping the channels or surfing different sites to get the varying perspectives.
When I tell my Fox watching or Drudge Report reading friends that I often watch BBC, RT or Al Jazeera (to name a few) they think I'm the one who's lost my mind! 😳😹🤔
You cannot say anything contrary to what they "know to be true" when it comes to anything Trump.

(2,771 posts)My thought was why on earth does CNN give this jerk a platform? He is who he is and won't change and, I'm certain, is unable to reflect on his own foolishness. What excuse does CNN have?

(83,748 posts)Much like the rest of the GOP. I have to mute when that ass speaks.
He has the audacity to compare trump to King. FFS! King was fighting to allow men and women of color their basic...BASIC civil rights. That they would be equal under the law to vote. To be a recognized person. To be an equal to all men and women. Dump wants to take healthcare away from millions. He wants them to die as quickly and painfully as possible. Lord can go ef himself. See the difference Lord? No, of course you don't you are a stupid POS and soulless bastard.

CNN has become diseased and they need to purge the bald faced liars and racists they have given voice to. The only credibility they have undermined is their own.

(9,350 posts)Jeffery Lord is trying to prevent people from criticizing President Trump by comparing him to Martin Luther King Jr. Lord realizes that Dr. King is very popular. Most people do not criticize Dr. King and those that do are either not taken seriously, or criticized. Lord is pretty much so saying people cannot criticize Donald Trump because he is just like Dr. King. Lord is attempting to put forward the idea that to criticize Trump is to criticize Dr. King.

(14,853 posts)He could have compared MLK to Hitler along similar lines!
What an idiot! I can't stand that guy, and I wish CNN would quit giving him airtime.

(10,252 posts)when these creepy cruds show up on my TV. Why should I subject myself to the vulgarity, stupidity, and immorality of anything Trump? I'm better than that. Those people give me the creeps. Actually feel my distaste for them crawling up my spine to the back of my neck. A very unpleasant sensation.

(46,086 posts)Rebranding is a marketing strategy in which a new name, term, symbol, design, or combination thereof is created for an established brand with the intention of developing a new, differentiated identity in the minds of consumers, investors, competitors, and other stakeholders.[1][2] Often, this involves radical changes to a brand's logo, name, legal names, image, marketing strategy, and advertising themes. Such changes typically aim to reposition the brand/company, occasionally to distance itself from negative connotations of the previous branding, or to move the brand upmarket; they may also communicate a new message a new board of directors wishes to communicate.
Rebranding can be applied to new products, mature products, or even products still in development. The process can occur intentionally through a deliberate change in strategy or occur unintentionally from unplanned, emergent situations, such as a "Chapter 11 corporate restructuring," "union busting," or "bankruptcy." Rebranding can also refer to a change in a company/ corporate brand that may own several sub-brands for products or companies.
