Kim Jong-un orders evacuation of Pyongyang: report

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered 25 percent of Pyongyang residents to leave the city immediately, according to a Russian news outlet on Friday.
The Pravda report said that in accordance with the order, 600,000 people should be urgently evacuated. Experts note that the evacuation will most likely be conducted due to extremely strained tensions in relations with the US.

Reportedly, Pyongyang's bomb shelters will not be able to accommodate the entire population of the North Korean capital. Therefore, 600,000 people - mostly individuals with criminal records - will have to leave Pyongyang to let others use bomb shelters, the report added. (khnews@heraldcorp.com)

Kim Jong un-orders evacuation of Pyongyang.

As for the rest ...

PravdaReport isn't a good source. It sucks. It's Russian and a hotspot of dis- and mis-information.

In this case, its source is Superstation95, https://www.superstation95.com/index.php/world/3652. Which is a home-grown hotspot of dis- and mis-information.

Moreover, citing Snopes' evaluation of the Superstation,

The poorly-sourced claim was widely spread by Superstation95 an online outlet that is neither a “superstation” nor a legitimate news source but rather a repository of misinformation from Hal Turner, a white supremacist who was sentenced in 2010 to 33 months in prison for making death threats against three federal judges. (The individual listed on the site’s “Contact” page is Turner’s criminal lawyer.)

If we had minimal critical thinking skills, fake-news wouldn't be a big problem. But we luvs us some fakery (rhymes with bakery, and pies R good!) that serves us a nice helping of "we're right and our beliefs are true." Then we blame others for feeding us the heap o' lies.

So progressives merrily cite white supremacists when they make us right in our own eyes. Oy, not much left to say after that.

They referenced a Pravada report in the article.

Please document the connection to the right wing source if you can, I don't see that in there.

According to James Pearson, a Reuters correspondent in North Korea for the "big secret event" confirms it. Says the streets were cleared for security reasons because Kim Jong-un is personally dedicating some new street.

I was suspicious yesterday when none of the large mainstream news outlets were reporting on this bit of fake news which started at Russian news PRAVDA and then spread by 4Chan, Daily Mail, RT News and then by every conspiracy blog on the planet.
