Trump is starting to show his true colors on why he ran for president.

From the very beginning many of us saw right through this SOB. Trump made a big pivot last week. Trump is not extremely smart , but he is sly as a fox.

Trump pushed Bannon to the side. Why? He got what he wanted from him. Bannon can't help trump with his main goal. To enrich himself and people like him. He wants giant tax cuts for the rich and he wants to deregulate business. Deregulate the banks, the real estate market. Trump wants to build towers and resorts with his name on it around the world. I don't think trump will get rid of Bannon completely, because he made need him again to keep their dumbass base happy.

Goldman Sachs is now in the whitehouse helping trump. Trump made his move. He is now doing what he always wanted to do. They are going to rig the game. Legalized corruption. Trickle down. Screw the working man.

Trump never cared about the working man. He never cared about healthcare. Sometimes when trump lies the truth slips out. He told us why he wanted to pass a so called healthcare bill. He said it would make tax reform easier. He wants to save money by throwing millions of americans off of medicaid and by taking away their obamacare.

Trump has already started to deregulate everything he can by executive order. There is a lot more to come.

Trump is a very evil person. He uses people to get what he wants and then tosses them away. He turns on people if he feels they are not completely loyal. He is driven by greed. He ran for president to enrich himself. He is now putting in a system that will help him do just that.

There is a reason trump did not show his taxes. Trump must of took a big hit in 2008 when the real estate market crashed. He must of hated obama for putting in tough regulations that made it harder for corrupt people like trump to do business. There may be another reason trump ran for president. Revenge. Narcissists blame people for there failures.

So, while everyone is watching trump drop bombs, having fake meetings with labor, listening to his tweets. He and his goldman sachs buddies are rigging the game and they are going to bleed us dry.

because he is mentally disordered.

Most of those who claim to have truly believed him are providing cover for their own dreadful behavior--to hide from their own awareness as well as that of others.

Let's face it, almost all Republican politicians for the past 20 years have run almost entirely on lies. Because none of them would have won if they'd told the truth to voters who demand lies.

So "scam"? No. Rump just played their game best this time around and became the fool-in-chief of who insist on being fooled.

As for just using extremist Bannon, our POTUS himself has been swallowing big-time the lies of extremist conspiracist sites like Infowars for decades. Forget that harsh reality at your own peril.

It's hard to understand, but I'm convinced my parents (yuge Trumpers) TOTALLY fell for the lies. They saw what they wanted to see. They BELIEVED Trump when he said that the bad news about him was "fake news," that the press is the enemy of the people.

My Dad is beginning to have misgivings. He didn't vote for war or bombing Syria. He also didn't vote for Social Security or Medicare cuts, if that comes to pass (and if Trump and Ryan have anything to say about it, it will).

But for many it largely arises from a trained in hypocrisy that has become an intrinsic part of their political personas. At least that's what I believe I've observed here in the deep south. People who kept being newly shocked and dismayed by the months of revelations about this sordid swindler nevertheless later managed to become committed anyway.

Some just wanted to vote Republican, some hopefully wanted to believe him, but both really, really wanted to vote against the Democrats. From what I saw, they all just required a little time and work to massage their psyches around to making belief in him "real."

I don't see how they could pivot from that in just a few months. What would it say about them? Unlike those who innocently swallowed whole and happily, like with W most will once again require a lot more time, and more betrayal, before they can manage to uncommit themselves as virtuously as they committed.

Btw, your dad may have fallen for the lies, but it doesn't sound like he became a true believer. We have those newly concerned here, too, but in being willing to acknowledge what's happening, he and they are way out ahead of most.

A "successful billionaire"! He's pro-military (but not like Bush in that he doesn't want to go to war)! He's against the EPA! He's anti-Muslim! He's anti-Obama! He's anti-Clintons! He's going to cut taxes! He's going to repeal Obamacare that is giving money to the deadbeats!

People in the deep south (in my homestate, anyway) are crude and bigoted, so the fact that Trump was didn't matter. That was a plus. Molesting women? My dad and I didn't discuss it, but I'm sure he thought what other Trumpers SAID they thought: Oh, he didn't molest any women. He was just bragging to sound important.

I wonder what he'll think when Medicare and Social Security cuts come down the pike. My dad and his wife are both heavy users of Medicare and get Social Security benefits. Then again, the Republicans want to end both programs, and yet my Dad and his wife consistently vote Republican, knowing that. Go figure.

Sun Apr 16, 2017, 05:04 PM

typically refers to people who've given over to an extremist degree of commitment, becoming unquestioning, zealous followers of the leader of their choice. Your dad obviously never sank into that because he is already questioning. Perhaps you had something to do with that? Certainly, the fact that you are still able to discuss this together suggests the doors never slammed completely shut for him.

Still, wouldn't it be wonderful if my perceptions were wrong and most conservatives are actually beginning to observe what's happening with narrowed eyes and cool and clear vision? Seriously, if only 10% realized irrational anti-Democrat hyperpartisanship is being used as a ring in their noses and rejected it...

But when I can't avoid it, I make my points. I intentionally avoided discussing Trump, because I know it would only cause an argument...because we've seen how the Trumpers are.

Some Trumpers are beginning to question him, or their vote, though. ALTHOUGH they would never have voted for Clinton, anyway. They would have voted for a different Republican.

I will never go over to the dark side. He calls me "the tree hugger." I wear that moniker proudly. I need to get a t-shirt that says that.

NJ casino license was the only casino license he ever got past the authorities. IMO, because of shady connections he had.

The location he had for a hotel/ casino on the Atlantic city boardwalk were perfect. I grew up in that area of NJ, been there many times- its ALWAYS packed with summer tourists.

I don't understand how anyone can fail on a casino and hotels in that location. And fail HUGE like the revenue income disappeared into thin air.

Must be one of the reasons the IRS has Mr. Trump on a lifetime audit.

... that's not why Trump won't show us his tax reports.

The IRS tax reports will tell us where his property is, whom he owes money to, and who's paying him money like for fees, services and kickbacks. The tax forms won't spell it out in black and white, there will be a lot of stuff buried in minutia. But Trump and his lawyers know that we'll figure it out if we ever see his IRS reports. It's all going to come out sooner or later.

Trump's ONLY plan is to get all the tax laws changed to help the super-rich BEFORE his resigns or gets kicked out.
I don't believe this man ever had a clue how to be president, because he never wanted the job.

A lot of us (probably most of us) saw how bogus he was even last summer during his campaign.
But I don't think we knew how Trump and the Republican Party sold out to Putin.
That info was kept from us until after the election and we're only getting tiny snips of it now.

Meanwhile it's very important that we see his tax forms. We'll get him on that if nothing else.

Most of his properties are likely held in company names, so profit or loss is simply entered as a line item on his taxes.
If there was some really bad shit in there, I have no doubt that somehow they would have been released by someone already. or maybe leaked would be a better term. The IRS isnt in the business of protecting frauds & scams.

....from Goldman Sachs as well, don't forget, and a multimillionare. And is funded by two of the richest billionaires in the world--the Mercers, who may be even richer than the Kochs and are even more extreme.

I think 45 pushed Bannon aside, if he really has--which is debatable--because he was advising in a way that was publicly humiliating to 45. So he's been moved a little off-camera.

What frightens me most during this time of completely corrupt coup is the venality of the MSM which is not exposing 45. Oh--they do a little around the edges--but I mean relentless investigation and exposure. It's our MSM that never made front and center how 45 treated his "working men" on his construction projects--where he stiffs them and cheats them. If that had been a headline story during the election, I don't think 45 would have won.

BTW--I don't think Bannon, a true ideologue if ever there was one---will ever be far away. He's got too much power in his own way--Mercer money and Breitbart and the racist base voter. And apparently he knows too much about 45 and other Republicans to ever be truly demoted.

I always suspected it was for money that he did this. What he expected it could do for his fucking brand. If you can slap the presidential seal on all your t-shirts and golf merch and hotel gift shop souvenir shit, you can jack up the prices as high as you want. Instead of maintaining your own private jet and staff and maintenance and personal security, the US taxpayer will pick up the tab for you to fly back and forth from Mar-a-Lago every weekend, because YOU get to do it on Air Force One. And they throw in a helicopter YOU don't have to pay for, either, because the US taxpayer picks up the tab for Marine One and its staff and upkeep, too.

This whole sordid episode has allowed him to completely redefine "the art of the deal." That's one humdinger of a deal he made for himself. On you and on me.

28. Revenge. Plain & Simple...
Sat Apr 15, 2017, 07:40 PM
Apr 2017

Trump lives for revenge....
yes, wealth is important to him...
but the presidency has empowered him with the ultimate power to get revenge...
from any & all who have ever crossed him, outsmarted him, mocked him, made money off of him, cost him money, etc.

Some he simply humiliates ... (romney christie etc)

Others he gives more attention to...
in the form of long term revenge ....
He likes to make his former adversaries/rivals into subordinates ...
much like those who he sees as smarter/ more powerful (Generals & such)

He enjoys stringing people along & pulling the rug out.., repeatedly if they are willing to hang around...

He sees the peons who voted for him as dupes who deserve to be disappointed since they were dumb enough not to realize he was full of shit...
Buyer Beware!

He delights in maximizing his "take" from The government / tax revenues ... his companies get paid plus he & his family get to live like royalty ... vacations every weekend... Security around the clock... all free for the taking....

And all of those cabinet members...
Who are far wealthier than he....
Who have grand conflicts of interest...
histories of questionable associations ...
And have used their ill gotten gains to support 45's election and effectively purchase a position of authority for themselves...
He has saved the best revenge just for them....

Whether 45 has negotiated a deal for himself remains to be seen...
but it matters not to his overall revenge plans...

You see, Guiliani convinced all the guilty parties that the Presidential Power to Pardon would be used to keep them all free from prosecution ...

What greater revenge than to
Choose not to grant pardons
To those whose crimes were committed
in order to give you the very power
That you now refuse to use... ???

Ok still too tin hat for the masses...
but it would effectively drain the swamp...,,

So much truth in it. He is a supreme narcissist and everything he does is in self-interest and to prop up his ego. He cares about no one outside himself and his immediate family, since he sees them merely as an extension of himself.

He is the ultimate example of several personality disorders rolled into one sick and damaged human being.

Obama and Seth Myers made fun of him at the WHCD in 2011, making fun of the idea of Trump as President.

look at him! He's fucking seething.

That was when he decided to run. I'm pretty sure of it. And it certainly would explain the russian peeing on the beds story, too.

Afghanistan today. HE loves it that the con bombed the Afghan cave. Said there were somewhere over 100 ISIS killed. He said those guys are running scared. They know Obama isn't there anymore and the new guy's not taking any sh*t. We both decided we weren't going to waste a call on politics, plus neither of us would have budged from our opinion.

As to Bannon, He's a very vindictive guy, just like The Con. He's smart enough to know he's being sidelined and he won't take it lying down. I stocked up on popcorn when I saw what was going on with Bannon. think it's going to be quite entertaining to watch those two attack each other. My money is on The Con kust because he has more $$ so he can outlast his opponent.
