Trump Just Bullied A Child At White House Easter Egg Roll

President Trump’s narcissistic self-absorption and shocking refusal to show even the smallest courtesy or compassion for others was on full display this morning at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.

Meant to be a day for children to meet the leader of their nation and to have some fun, Trump inevitably made it about himself. When one child asked him to sign his hat, Trump happily did so… before flinging the hat far into the crowd, prompting a cry of rage from the disappointed child who just learned that hard way what kind of a man Donald Trump really is.

In any case, perhaps these variations from everyday normal will help clue in people who can't evaluate him politically that there is something wrong with him -- as enough finally cumulatively break through the right-wing media bubble barrier enough, of course.

After all, how many got to see him try to jerk world leaders into his personal space while shaking their hands? I'm kinda hopeful for this WH Easter egg one.

Besides having done a few gigs (as a Peanuts character) at the White House Easter Egg Roll during the Obama years, she was also doing something similar at at event in NJ for underprivileged kids that Trump was to appear at. So what happened? Trump flew in on his helicopter. He got out, told these ghetto kids that if they worked hard like he had, someday they would have their own helicopter, too. Then he got back into his helicopter and flew off. I'm sure America's youth really got an inspiration out of that, right?

This isn't some new sign of dementia. This is really how the man is. If there's anyone out there who does NOT pity his ten year old son yet, it's not too late.....

When they take open his cranium, there will be nothing but a transmission box receiving instructions from somewhere else.

Actually, now that you mention it, my father-in-law NEVER spoke about his WWII experiences. He was 18 when a retreating unit saw him barely moving after an artillery shell had blown off part of his leg. Gangrene set in, but a field hospital somewhere in the Ukraine finally amputated enough so that it stopped spreading upwards.

He was so traumatized that he refused to discus what had happened to him. In his final stages of Parkinson's disease, over 50 years later, his mind started to go, and the inhibitions were removed. He started re-living the battle of Stalingrad as he had lived it, calling out to long-dead guys in his unit to watch out for incoming artillery shells. His willpower to suppress the memories had finally been stripped away.

Trump obviously never was called on to be in such a situation, but maybe this is indeed the beginning of a similar process. If so, it's not too soon to brush up on the 25th Amendment's requirements, not that the thought of Pence in the Oval gives any more comfort.

I have stayed away from that. Lord knows he exhibits behavior that has many disturbing implications, but could come from many kinds of pathologies. And I am NOT diagnosing, just musing on an observation. He does and says a tremendous number of things that are content free. "Unpredictable" is great code for "winging it." That makes me wonder how much he actually digests but it isn't necessarily a dementia issue. But this one, this mental hiccup where an act is disconnected from The here and now but attached to something that one is remembering and preoccupied with (the campaign and feeling of greatness and playing to a crowd by flinging hats) is an awful lot like a skipped neurological beat. Same with the nudge during the anthem. He seemed delighted with being on that balcony in front of a crowd. He seemed to be in the much loved campaign fantasy. Being president and representative of the office didn't seem to be in his awareness.

Again, not diagnosing. But I'm watching with a different eye.

His mental process just slipped right into the synapse he created during the campaign. My mother had Dementia, so I was reading what you wrote with scepticism and ready to disagree, but what you said makes sense. He may have been caught up in his own much used mental pathway.

Of course there's definitely something wrong with some connectivity activity in his mental processes.
