FYI - Twitter time stamps are links to the tweets

So, if you see a post like this, click the time stamp to see more, including all the interactions. Notice the placement of the word "thread" above the time stamp link. Click the time stamp to see the thread.

A few people have griped about twitter. You know they didn't read Twitter for Dummies. Yes, the book is out!

Twitter For Dummies Cheat Sheet

If you are unfamiliar with Twitter, there are useful online sites that get you up to speed in minutes.

Also FYI, Twitter is not for dummies. The search feature is very useful, the photos deliver great visual content, and if you have an account you can really control what you see in your feed.

Clicking the body brings up the thread, and the URL in the address bar. The time stamp link is a short cut to copy and then paste here.

I have a Twitter account but I've found it overwhelming and haven't done much with it. Maybe I'll jump back in the pool at Ed racing your tutorial.

I follow science news with only a couple of exceptions, so it is a pleasant place without political stress. The great thing about an account is controlling who you follow and seeing only that in your "Home" tab.
