Looks like Trump may not be going to UK after all...Theresa May calls for General Election..

She may no longer be in power, she was not voted in as Prime Minister..

Theresa May became Prime Minister with no mandate from the British Public. They did not vote for her as leader of our country. She was chosen by the Tory Party alone....

jump on the Remain side, in anticipation of a General Election, because he was a Leave anyway.

There's one sliver of hope, and it's that the LibDems have gone all in on Remain, so they might become a rallying point. That said, there are still a lot of people angry with them for their treachery in going into government with Cameron.

First, as others have pointed out, May is likely to be even stronger after the June election.

Second, if by some miracle the Conservatives lost control of the government, the new PM would still have Trump come over in October.
