Finally, Tillerson makes the move to get what he wants - resumption of an oil venture valued at about $500 billion.
And Putin gets what he wants as his financial empire depends on oil.
And Trump gives Putin what he wants by instructing the Treasury Dept. to approve the waiver.

(2,270 posts)The "deal" should be done by then, time to go home and roll around in his money. Do these "people" have NO shame? I know I know, that was a rhetorical question........

Now how do we boycott? I don't recall ever putting Exxon gas in my cars, so are there any businesses owned by them I could boycott and spread the word about?
Flaleftist
(3,473 posts)You can buy gas at Wawa or Shell and be buying from them. So there's no way to boycott Exxon oil unless you don't buy anything made with oil. I don't know about other business interests they have, but I think they are all in energy/oil and chemicals made with oil.

(3,473 posts)A lot of people don't appear to be aware of of the level of corruption going on in this administration. We need to do everything we can to expose the bastards and get out the vote. It seems like every day they do more and more damage. Ossof coming so close to 50% indicates some people are waking up. There's going to be one hell of a mess by the time we retake Congress.

(5,268 posts)All it would do is give Exxon and Russian oligarchs more billions to spend to have even more control over our democracy and elections- Exxon probably wouldn't even pay any US taxes on their profits

I mean, it's so obvious what's going on and should even disgust a good number of Trump voters when they see how they were played.
