Thanks to Donald Trump, the international community now knows that the United States is a force to be reckoned with.

Gone are the days when dictators and allies alike disdained a professorial president who preferred nuclear diplomacy to nuclear war. If only Barack Obama had played more golf at luxury resorts, his successor would not have to bring such golden luster to such a copper world.

Less than 100 days into this presidency, it is blissfully clear what kind of leader Trump is. He has made the awesome transition from a neophyte candidate into a neophyte president; from a man who bluffed and blustered his way in TV debates to a man who bluffs and blusters his way through international crises.

Here is a small-time businessman who knew nothing about foreign affairs, who has grown into a nuclear-armed president who knows nothing about foreign affairs. He used to fire B-list celebrities on TV; now he just fires off tweets and Tomahawks after watching TV.

To put it mildly, it is troubling for any White House – at a time of high tensions with a rogue nuclear state – to act as dumb or duplicitous as Donald Trump. Machiavelli argued that it is better to be feared than loved. It’s also better to look like something other than a fool.

People around the world are disturbed by a madman in the office, but they are also pointing and laughing at our ignorance. They don't understand why we do the things we do. We have "free and fair" elections, but only 50% of our citizens vote. We have an opportunity to drag war torn nations up from the rubble they are living in and we caused it. They know of our past deeds and can't understand why we can't create a new Berlin supply drops, a Marshall Plan a great infrastructure system, we are fools to all of them I hope the Reaganite's are happy. We are a shadow.

This is an age of voter picture ID laws, gerrymandered districts, questionable electronic voter machines, and preventing access to those voting machines by simply not supplying enough of them in heavily minority districts. This is what elected Trump. 50% couldn't vote because they need to go to work in two hours instead of waiting in line for five (hours)! This is why we have an obstructing Republican controlled Congress! You actually think we could get anything even remotely compared to a Marshall Plan in this mess of a government?! Hell, they're even talking about limiting travel by requiring a passport just to board an airplane to go from one city to another WITHIN OUR OWN COUNTRY! I feel a bit upset that I have to put out hundreds of extra dollars and wait months just to visit grandma in Ohio! If anything, the rest of the world is wondering what the f^3k happened to us!
