I do not know one woman that listens, they all still listen to the radio, including the above men's wives.

(8,368 posts)I live in a red area of Virginia and there are no progressive shows, so I subscribe to SiriusXM for the Progress channel.

(4,183 posts)Granted, I'm a 50 yo white male, but my wife and I both have Sirius in our cars and love it. It's not even terribly expensive, and well worth it--a great variety of music without commercials or even too much repetition. I can't tell you how much fantastic new music I've come across listening to their modern rock channels. Plus for news there's BBC, MSNBC, Progressive Radio--lots to choose from.
Careful with the broad brush.
