After covering the abduction of a 15 year old girl

by a 50 year old male teacher for days on end, it's odd that the story that she has been found was ignored on the evening news today. She's safe, and the man is under arrest. They were found in a small town in California near the Oregon border.

A post earlier today here about this dropped out of sight like a stone. We seem to care more about the drama of her abduction than about her rescue. I find that decidedly odd, somehow.

Wondered if she thought she loved him like teens get. He obviously took advantage of her.
