Kick & Rec thread for 30 NFL N.E.Patriots refusing Trump handshake

Michael Skolnik is Tweeting NFL star Alan Branch's (from N.E. Patriots) remark on why he couldn't go to the White House and shake Donal Trump's hand.

Reportedly, Alan Brach stated

"I couldn't shake his {Trump} hand and look my daughters in the eye"

[br]

[br][hr][br]

We are now informed 30 N.E. players declined to go to the White House and have the once-in-lifetime"honor" of shaking President Trump's hand

KUDOS to them!

Let's Kick and rec the chit out if thus, in any way you can?

Of the 19 total (not 30) who didn't go.

The most prominent of them, Tom Brady, is a Trump supporter.

Nauseating man. Another one who would have been right at home at the Party Congress after the Great Leap Forward (see my post on another thread):

Doesn't detract from his Super Bowl wins..

But damn sure makes me root against N.E. ...next season.

Anyone claiming to be this narcissistic bigots friend (like...hey...I was his friend before he was President)

can't be a good thing.....

34 players went to the White House and there are 53 players on a football team.

Edit to add: Apparently they invited the practice squad people as well - so the number might not be a lie.

" A total of 68 players from the active roster, practice squad, and injured reserve list were invited."

I consider it organized brutality and I thank God every day that our son never took an interest in playing football in school.

But THIS I can definitely get behind!

THESE Patriots really ARE patriots - small-p.

People put it all, on the line, in equals contest.

Even political battles are brutal, (as MLK or any Kennedy can tell you).

None of us who desire good, want that they lost all, upon the alter of sacrifice;

but we take and praise to the glory, in the honor of it...

Mostly due to our mortality state of being.

The factor of the matter is....any...are outstanding.

Made even more dramatic, by this father's statement.

KUDOS to ...whatever ....the number is;

and all those in favor of the statement!
