Report: Russia Sought to Infiltrate Campaign Through Advisers

"SNIP.............

According to a CNN report, Russian operatives sought to “infiltrate” the Trump campaign through its advisers, using “backdoor channels.” Citing U.S. officials, CNN reports that FBI intelligence-gathering led to the conclusion. One such adviser was Carter Page, but it was unclear whether Page knew he was being used by the Russians. It is possible, the network reported, that Page “unknowingly” spoke with Russian operatives. “My assumption throughout the last 26 years I’ve been going there has always been that any Russian person might share information with the Russian government... as I have similarly done with the CIA, the FBI and other government agencies in the past,” Page said.

So now they're trying to blunt the impact of the blows. Make it sound like it was the Russians attempting to covertly infiltrate the Trump campaign, and they've thrown out small fish Carter Page as their dupe. They even provide him arguable cover. Wrong.

Putingate is not a story about a Russian parasite attempting to suck blood out of an unwitting and unaware host. This was a symbiotic relationship from days WAY before the campaign even kicked off.

Nice try to deflect, but the feds have tape on everyone, and all of this is just an effort to confuse the general public when the real shit hits the fan.

They didn't seek, they were invited.

The Russians didn't have to try to infiltrate anything. Trump himself courted them. Hell, he publicly asked the Russians to hack Hillary.

they are going to be more conservative and require more confirmation than say a Louise Mensch because they have more to lose. Still more drip drip drip. This is how big scandals go. See Watergate which took over 2+ years to unravel
