I defunded [Travis County] $1.5 million because they adopted sanctuary city policies. If the president were to apply this very same concept across the board to all cities, counties and states in the United States that are receiving grants from the executive branch, that are criminal-justice grants if he were to cut off those grants to every sanctuary city, state [and] county
I think you would have over 20 billion dollars, Abbott said.

"Breitbart" Tancredo: Over 300 Sanctuary Cities Are Costing State and Local Taxpayers over $7,000,000,000 Annually
President Trump this week signed an executive order declaring war on so-called sanctuary cities. Agencies within the United States Government will begin withholding federal grant funds from those cities, and additional actions to enforce federal immigration law will be taken soon.
Unlike Obama, President Trump is not trying to making new laws by executive decree. In his Executive Order, the president is only reminding mayors and governors of existing federal law dating to 1996:
U.S. Code Title 8 Chapter 12 Subchapter II Part IX § 1373
8 U.S. Code § 1373 Communication between government agencies and the Immigration and Naturalization Service:

sorry for using Breitbart but they have Trumps plan!

Look at Somalia, look at how happy Northern Europeans are scrambling to get in!

Surprised Cruz and Cornyn aren't big backers. Are they at odds with Abbot?
