It's true, not everybody can pass so much crap or sign so many crappy executive orders. Instead of bragging about them, he should be hanging his head in shame.
The only things he can actually brag about, that actually got accomplished, was his executive order to withdraw from the TPP and the nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. And as we know, Mitch McConnell had to use the "nuclear option" to get him on the Court.
Otherwise, all the executive orders he has signed have been harmful to average Americans or helpful to the very wealthy. He brags about rolling back regulations, such as those that permit mine owners to pollute the streams and waterways that might be near their coal mines. Yeah, that's really something to brag about.
And he signed executive orders to finish the oil pipelines thru Nebraska and South Dakota. The landowners in Nebraska are challenging his efforts to put the pipeline through their land. And the Native Americans in South Dakota are fighting to keep him from destroying their drinking water.
Every order he has signed has been detrimental to average Americans. And his Party wants to brag about all that he has done. If he had signed all these executive orders to help people, then it would be a different story. But, everything he has done has hurt people. And he has done a lot of them. Big frigging deal!

(17,984 posts)This goes well beyond lying. It is obvious to everyone that his legislation is pro-corporation and anti-average American. No, his mind is deteriorated to the point that he only remembers what he should tell the public (hence the constant refrains from the campaign) and the fact that he has put his name on a lot of papers.
Think about it. Does he have the attention span needed to peruse legislation? No. Does he have a legal mind that can decipher the nuanced language of legislation? No. What he has is a group of advisors who give him the gist of the documents and assure him that signing them will be good for America.

Maybe they explain the bills to him but like you say, Trump's not a lawyer and probably doesn't have a clue.
But people knew all this and they voted for him anyway.
