Trump's Maginot Line won't protect against bogeyman.

The Maginot Line was a line of defense against a German invasion of France prior to World War Two. According to Wikipedia, "Having failed in its purpose, the line has since become a metaphor for expensive efforts that offer a false sense of security." The Germans didn't cross the Maginot Line, they went around it, invading France through Belgium.

Now that we know illegal immigration from Mexico along the boarder isn't that big of a problem, Trump is trying to sell us on the idea that the wall will protect us from all sorts of bogeymen like the m13 gang or drug dealers. However, this is worse than the previous lies because these bogeymen can easily circumvent the wall. While we're cutting money from needed services, Trump will pour billions into his Maginot Line. King Don's reign will be very expensive.

the Germans liked that France had so many men tied up in the Maginot Line as they
went mobile. Once the Germans got around the line France had to surrender because they
had >250,000 men inside the Maginot Line and the Germans had started to blast and gas
them out.

prevent an invasion from Germany. The Germans, though, went around the Line through Belgium and into France. If the line was not formidable, the Germans would have driven straight into France. The French problem was not having the foresight to also fortify their border with Belgium in the new age of mechanized warfare.

If BLOTUS actually read a book, he might have come across Patton's famous quote (which also applies to 45's insane wall "project&quot :

"Fixed fortifications are monuments to man's stupidity."

is only to feed into agent orange's ego. He will then say, "look at my bigly wall which will protect us."

Mexicans who want to come into America can fly over this wall and wave to it.

OT Maybe we should rename Donnie's project as "The Great Wall of Ballyhoo" or the Great Wall of Drumpfistan"?
