I can get crap like that on FOX. BTW, Steve Kornacki is on now. Jake Tapper is on CNN at the same time... Comparing the former to the latter is like comparing Dorell Wright to LeBron Freaking James.

(111,254 posts)It's corporate policy to let them go on air and lie their rotten asses off without a whisper of reality.
Just turn the bastards off until they change that policy--or are forced to by a new Fairness Doctrine.

(3,194 posts)EVEN when one side is telling the truth, and providing facts, the media MUST have another point of view on, even if that POV is FOC (Full Of Crap).
It's more important that they balance out the Truth with a 100% LIE, to create a happy 50/50 medium. Ya See.... (100 + 0) / 2 = 50.....Fair & Balanced.

(4,291 posts)I did so 18 months ago. Never looked back. Besides being laden with hundreds of corporate-owned/programmed channels, the carrier -- in my case, Bombast -- continue to cling to the business model of "fuck the subscriber". In my case, it was over $100/month, and climbing.
My video content has one controller: me. If I cannot find decent HD content locally (via attic antenna), I have streaming capability (via Ethernet - so no "buffering" and 200+ DVD and BluRay discs in my library.
