If there is a cloud being, they would smite dump on the spot for the unbelievable hypocrisy of criticizing Senator Clinton during the campaign for supposed foreign entanglements and corruption, while now engaging in UNFREAKINBELIVABLE levels of ACTUAL corruption and graft on a previously unimaginable scale.

Seriously, all of the pukes who think this is OK--words CANNOT express the level of hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance involved in pretending that it's all OK because a puke is doing it!!!

Crude, crass, cheesy, and absurd. "Winter White House" my ass, it's 45's year-round safe space and golf headquarters, with chandeliers over the toilets.

How quintessentially ugly-American.

I feel like they're wildly spinning this here. I did a search for the terms "Mar-a-Lago" and "white house" from the dates 1/1/1996 to 1/1/2014 and found the following article from 4/30/2006:

http://www.floridadesign.com/issues/15_4/pr/mar_a_lago/

“After Post’s death in 1973, the estate was turned over to the U.S. government for possible use as a diplomatic retreat or ‘Winter White House.’ But any such plans were abandoned due to prohibitive maintenance costs.”

Also, found a Newsmax (ugh) article from 1/2011 in which they promote Trump for president and mention Mar-a-Lago. I'll quote it briefly because I'm not going to link and give them any more ad money from clicks.

“When Trump bought Mar-a-Lago for a mere $5 million in 1985, no one wanted it. Marjorie Merriweather Post, who built the magnificent, 140-room estate, saw it as a summer White House and willed it to the government. But Jimmy Carter, who famously turned down the heat at the White House to 68 degrees, thought the acquisition frivolous.”

Forever with the smearing of Jimmy Carter, of course, but notice that Carter's term occurs at least 3 1/2 years past her death, so it's doubtful that decision was down to him unless I find proof otherwise.

At any rate, this whole thing is ridiculous and it's obvious to me they're inflating the estate's importance in their description. Info about its intended purpose seems nearly like a game of Telephone, but it's clear enough to me that they're making more of it than it was.

All of this doesn't change the fact that they're shamelessly (and illegally) advertising Mar-a-Lago. This entire administration disgusts me on levels I didn't even know existed before.

of the Executive Branch than I ever wanted to know, as I troll for who to send the ethics complaint to . . .

The bad news is that the office of government ethics is pointing away from itself to people who apparently only accept snail mail.

The U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) does not handle complaints of misconduct, nor does OGE have investigative or prosecutorial authority. OGE's mission is one of prevention. However, there are several agencies and entities across federal, state, and local governments that are responsible for investigating and prosecuting misconduct. Below you will find links to agencies that handle complaints against specific categories of government employees.

I know they didn't have that finger pointing in the other direction which I filed my first complaint about this administration - and I know they had a handy-dandy little form I could fill out. Guess they got too many complaints.

If I've followed the breadcrumbs correctly, this is the guy who gets complaints about ethics violations within the State Department:

The Honorable Steve Linick, Inspector General
