I just read the transcript of the great asshole's interview asshole's realize that the
idiot is in the throes of dementia. He did not complete one complete thought. I am just trying to recover from reading his drivel and wonder has he had a lobotomy? How can the nutters that voted for him approve of this bloated, blithering, bovine? Have I made it clear that I am not a fan?

4. Not really new, changed name !

Sorrybushisfromtexas was an all right name but comparing him to Trump makes George a little presidential. A long time member who mainly read but never posted much! Trump has made me get off my butt. I joined our local Indivisible group and am starting to go to protests which I haven't done since the early 70's. Trump has awakened a sleeping Giant. We just need to keep the Giant awake for the good of our world!

It's excruciating, isn't it.

I shouldn't feel this way, but I do: when I learn that someone voted for trump or supported trump or STILL supports trump, that affects how I feel about that person. That impacts my judgment of that person - his or her mentality, his or her grip on reality, his or her level of education, his or her vigilance on current events and this weird stupid annoying thing called FACTS. On his or her ability to READ. And DISCERN. And COMPREHEND.

Anybody who stands with trump - that is now the lens through which I view them.

I keep coming back to the word "deplorable".

Please somebody help me understand how this is NOT deplorable, and how THEY are not deplorable for clinging to viewpoints like this.

7. He's a lifelong self promoter.

I mean, think about it: he has always promoted himself, his name, his brand and gotten people to buy in. His one strength is being able to convince and con people into buying in. And by now it is an instinctive, knee-jerk reaction to every situation.

I have read through half of it so far (need a break!) And it is all me, me, me, me, I, I, I and everything he has touched has been a spectacular success. This is how he operates. It has nothing to do with reality and he doesn't care. It's his mission to promote, and promote he does!

If reality gets in the way there is always a little dance he can do to get out of it--always has been a way to lie and wiggle out of it. There is no way he's going to change this behavior.

He may be getting senile, forgetting things, losing the ability to concentrate as well, but what I see is mainly this "salesman's" approach, this Barnum and Baily carnival barker trying to draw in the public with a Greatest Show on Earth.
