great (NOT) he thinks it's a nice model for across the US. The guys at the press release today couldn't even field the questions. It's always the same BS, well, we're working on those details, etc., etc.
They present it as plans for the "typical" Americans, what a load of BS. It will benefit the wealthy IMO. Also, corps. have hoards of reserve cash. Furthermore, many companies pocket the cash from tax savings passing it onto the high rollers. Yep, trickle down economics again IMO.

(52,195 posts)any effect it has on the economy is an afterthought and an excuse to cover for the embezzlement and looting and raiding.
the goal is not to stimulate the economy at all. the goal is simply to grab money. some for themselves, and some for their rich cronies who will then turn around and give 1% of the loot back to keep republicans in power.
republicans have lost whatever pretense of philosophy they once had, they are now simply a criminal organization.

(111,242 posts)They don't care if all the bridges fall down, they've got choppers. They don't care about no fire departments or poilice, they've got private security and sprinkler systems. They don't care about schools, they hire tutors at home and then send the brats to prep school. They don't care about sewer systems, public health, or the larger economy.
We can all drop dead tomorrow and they think that would be just fine, cull the herd, all the "right" people would survive just fine.
All they care about is grabbing everything they can.

(13,083 posts)You put more money in the hands of the masses and they spend it.
Everyone benefits. Businesses benefit, The 1% benefits, the 99% benefits.
Put more money in the hands of the rich and corporate and they concentrate it even more. There is no trickle down. Never was.
