but those alt-right racist assholes coopted Pepe and started making and distributing perverse Pepe art of their own, much to the dismay of the original cartoonist.
if it happened to Pepe it can happen to damn near any anthropomorphic cartoon character with limited fame and short history.

(11,686 posts)The "winner" is the one who writes the history. Unless there are people out there who are willing to write down and save the truth it might be lost. There is a danger that they may put different history out for our children to learn. I mean don't we already have the true history left out in history books? When I was in history class in school we never read anything that was the fault of the U.S or anything they might have made a bad decision on. It was always everybody else. I have heard there are books that do explain our true part in world history.
