DU pronoun check-in(for those who feel comfortable doing so)

It has become common in a lot of groups to ask people which gender pronouns they wish to be referred to. As far as I know, we've never had a GD thread where that has been done, and in the name of keeping DU the most respectful place it can be(well, to each other that is)and I thought I would invite everybody who wants to do so to state what pronouns t8hey wish to be referred to by.

For myself, I mostly use "he/him pronouns", but will use a universal pronoun if one is ever developed, and have just decided that since the term is gender-neutral, I'm open to being referred to as "they" if that helps create a greater sense of inclusion.

So, this is open now to anyone who wishes to post in that vein.

I use they they/their/them... It's easy and far less ugly than he/she, which also leaves out the inter-sex and those who identify as gender fluid/neutral.

Just my 2 cents

Just thought it might be helpful to know what people here prefer...but, obviously, only if people are comfortable in doing so.

Women are she. Men are he. The 2 people I know who have changed from male to female they went from he to she. Anyone meeting them now would never guess they had not always identified as female.

If someone I know personally ask me to do refer to the as something different I will seriously consider it.

Not something I think about. Just practice good manners.
