Trump tweets on day 100: Media ignoring 'great optimism'
Trump's tweet Saturday echoed one he sent earlier this month, when he predicted that the "media will kill" any celebration of his early accomplishments.
"No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!"
Trump has frequently attacked the media over perceived negative coverage, and often refers to news outlets that cover him critically as "fake news."
