6. Do yourself a favor and use the ignore function.

I put 7 DUers on ignore and DU is now virtually back to normal. Today I had to add one because a new Duers with just a handful of posts posted a new one. This is likely one of the 7 ignored DUers assuming a new ID because they are losing their ability to disrupt since people are blocking them.

11. Just put Bernie in a "time out" for a few hours at a time.

I use the Trash feature all the time (Thanks DU!) to clean up what shows up in the "Latest Threads" heading. Works great. It gets rid of all the eternal combatants and their petty cage fighting, and lets other, more interesting and informative topics come through.

15. Yep, unfortunately a certain faction of the "ALWAYS HILLARY" contingent has morphed...

...into the "BERNIE IS SATAN" contingent and they have been allowed free reign... and they are well on their way to becoming just as noxious and toxic as the "NEVER HILLARY" crowd was. Maybe they'll also have a massive hissyfit and go start their own website.

matched those of certain familiar high-volume posters. I think there are many alt accounts set up solely to flame.

These accounts are meant to protect the user's 'real' accounts from hides. When the new account is zapped they just make another.
