I honestly thought

Trump could not stoop lower. But of course I was wrong; his speech last night was the most hateful and disturbing we've heard, even after his long and insane campaign. I cannot believe that his base wants their children to hear their president tell a horrible "story" which calls refugees from war and starvation "snakes" who will bite Americans if we take them in.
