He was a great man. A great, great man!

Don't listen to Donny Trump as he distorts history. We tried to work things out. It just wasn't quite that simple.

You just have to live a long, long time. Judging by your avatar, you've pedaled through quite a few years as well.

An I remember Andrew Jackson was on FoxNews every night trying to prevent the war. He wa trying to, you know, work it out. According to Ole' Andy, all the country had to do was accept slavery as a white man's right. Bill O'Reily agreed with him, but the country went a different way. SAD

My name is Pvt. Robert Roscoe. I served twice in the Civil War-once in the Indiana Calvary-but I got typhoid and got discharged because I couldn't stay out in the elements. Second enlistment I went into the infantry and lost my left arm at the Battle of Shiloh. I tell you we were THIS CLOSE to working it out!!!!

But the hot-head he was would not listen to me, and it burned nearly the entire city of Atlanta to the ground. He never made that mistake again.

However, I spent most of my time hanging around Mt. Argaeus in Cappadoccia trying to keep the Pasha's men off of my property.

We were still using America Online dial up at the time. And when I wasn't getting busy signals waiting for a connection, I was busy trolling the chat rooms for a hook up.

bone spurs...or maybe it was a boil on my ass? Did my patriotic duty though, supplied the troops with "fancy ladies", rotgut and clap cures.
