It's like the Emperor's New Clothes. Everyone is gushing with praise over the Emperor's new clothes and you are the only one who can see that he's naked. You yell out to the crowd "He isn't wearing anything" but people still insist that his clothes are the finest they have ever seen and they convince both the Emperor and each other that his attire is truly exceptional.

You are just standing there, dumbfounded, because you can't believe that other people can't see what is so clear to you.

That is pretty much how I feel about Trump, but at least I have some reasonable people in my life who agree with me. But the fact that so many people cannot clearly see the horror that is Donald Trump makes me feel insane sometimes.

Exactly, and that goes for public figures (in government, in media) and everyday encounters with regular citizens. If Hillary was doing the kinds of things that Trump et al. are doing, those same would be screaming from the rooftops.

Speaking of Hillary, she was slammed by Time Magazine's Tim Elliot in a quote that was twisted off its context like an unripe peach:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/05/02/this-one-clinton-quote-shows-why-her-supporters-hate-the-media/?utm_term=.5c43b666d3e0

Which reminds me again how complicit the press has been in the ascension of Trump. Why in the world should Trump and his minions be decrying the MSM when the MSM helped him get where he is?

I have to be so selective today about the media voices to whom I'll give any part of my trust.

She and Jared did challenge Bannon about the NSC, and got him out, and control to McMaster. They may not have been elected, but it I think they mitigate the damage at times.

Too bad they don't take his phone away. Don't get it. He says he doesn't email though, but still the unhinged tweets can do real damage.Remember when they took Obama"s Blackberry and he was a very cautious person.
