Melania Trump's Twitter Just Liked a Tweet About How Much She Hates Her Husband

the @FLOTUS account—she doesn’t use it very much. But the Twittersphere lit up this evening with screenshots of a tweet that was liked from her personal account, which suggests that the rumors of her dislike for her husband could be very true.

Gizmodo saw the like with our very own eyes just moments ago but in the time it’s taken to write this post, it disappeared. Now, Mrs. Trump’s only like is a tweet from herself that reads, “Hello Twitter!”

Make of that what you will. Maybe she was hacked, maybe she thought she was logged into a secret anonymous account, maybe it was an intern, or maybe she’s sending a message.

1. Many Twitter accounts of public figures are run by assistants or aides, not by

the public figure, though the public figures might sometimes tweet for themselves. Even Cheato's tweets and retweets are sometimes the work of an aide.

The assistant probably searches for Melania's name each day and maybe key words that are relevant to Trump himself and then "likes" tweets that include the name and one of the words or concepts. But assistants are often overworked, rushed, or just sloppy and careless.

Ivanka's business Twitter account once retweeted an embarrassing tweet, because an assistant got careless.

And both Cheato and members of his staff and his administration have sometimes retweeted tweets that turn out to be embarrassing because of the source of the original--usually a neo-nazi site.
