Well how hard can it be?

"Let's see if we can find the solution,” Trump said later during a luncheon with Abbas and his advisors. “It's something that, I think, is, frankly, maybe not as difficult as people have thought over the years.”

"I've always heard that perhaps the toughest deal to make is the deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians," Trump said.

"Let's see if we can prove them wrong," he added. "We will get it done."

Al Jazeera's James Bays, reporting from the White House, said the meeting did not bring any clarity on the US policy about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"We know what they want, but we don't know how they are going to get there," he said. "Trump is not telling us how he is intending to achieve the peace he is promising."

2 months from today, I can almost guarantee it:

"Nobody knew that Israel/Palestine could be so complicated"

A solution that is simple, elegant, and wrong as all hell.

I don't know if it will take two whole months for Trump to tell us all what nobody knows: "This conflict is really old, and has been going on for a long time! Nobody knew that! Nobody knows how dug in both sides are. Nobody knew that both sides had some good points to make. Nobody! It's unbelievable how complicated this is! I'll bet nobody here knew any of that."

All we needed was some relatives of a TV celebrity to solve a thousand years of Middle Eastern issues.

Thank you, Deplorables!

TheRump has already given Bibi the green light to grab as much Palestinian land as he wants, yet he thinks that somehow the Palestinians will just accept that and come running to make a deal?
