Imagine the most confusing and unsettling day. Imagine you don't know what you're doing and you're

making lots of mistakes, when there is no room for error.

Now imagine you're in the White House and you're having those kind of days every day. You know the feeling, jittery, thoughts rattled, trying to hang onto some kind of order and rationality when everything around you is funhouse weird and variable, nothing makes any damn sense and your heart is beating fast all the time.

People don't generally think well under fire. People under lots of stress tend to make bad decisions unless they are trained for it.

Now imagine someone in that situation is an idiot to start with.

I think that's what we're dealing with, and I can only hope they get out of Dodge as soon as possible before they do more damage.

president of all time. He's an idiot who is making a ton of mistakes, but he's not nervous or jittery about it because he doesn't think he's making mistakes. The result is probably the same though. A complete disaster!
