Joey Chestnut Wins Sixth Straight Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest (68 hot dogs)

NEW YORK -- Joey Chestnut did it again.

Chestnut tied his own world record, devouring 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes to capture his sixth consecutive Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on Wednesday afternoon on Brooklyn's Coney Island.

Chestnut, a 28-year-old from San Jose, Calif., who is better known as "Jaws," also ate 68 hot dogs in 2009. He has won every Mustard Belt since 2007, and took home $10,000 for his efforts Wednesday.

"It feels great that I was able to tie the world record without anybody really pushing me," Chestnut said.

Temperatures were sweltering outside -- pushing into the 90s -- but Chestnut was able to persevere through them. He was just upset he didn't establish a personal best.

here in rochester we produce these. excellent, but a different style of dog that a nathans\hebrew national;



those are red hots, we have white hots which are pork based

here we also smother dogs in what we call "hot sauce" but is actually a meat sauce;



i prefer a nathans\hebrew style dog myself, but the zweigles are tasty as well...

18. I grew up in NYC, live in Chicago: Vienna Beef is by far the best hot dog

of the mass produced hot dogs.

Moreover, pretty much any corner hot dog shack in Chicago will make you a better hot dog than you can get anywhere in these United States.

That said, you can't get a decent pizza outside the New York tri-state area. Chicago pizza is garbage, a demented cheese and tomato pie, and certainly not a pizza at all.
