'What did you do in the revolution Daddy/Mommy?'

I personally have never advocated violence in any form but It's looking more and more that this question may be asked over and over again to parents by the next generation.

Too many Americans won't simply sit quietly at home and die or starve or allow their love ones to do so because of a fascist tyrant and his minions craving for control and power.

It will come down to the question that many are contemplating tonight... When do we as peace loving Americans reach our tipping points and how long do we wait before action becomes absolutely necessary and before it is impossible to act.

Sadness and anger fills me at this point. But when does the anger and fear for our families, friends and ourselves make the discission if not an easy one, critical for survival.

Your opinions dear DUers.

Make their lives a living hell everytime they go out in public. Start harassing them and never give them a moments rest. If you see one of them in a restaurant tweet it out so people will be waiting for them outside of the restaurant to remind them they represent us not party interests. I think we need to step it up. Just never understood why people don't surround congress and hold them hostage until they start working for the people. Block the entrances and tunnels, don't let them leave until they start working for us. Country over party should be our mantra.

I live in San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi is my representative. I want to help as the opposition but my calls to other representatives in other states mean bumpkis.

The French in particular are pretty effective in getting their point across.

But Americans are generally passive. I mean what if somebody's employer saw them demonstrating or something.

(See my screen name-- I'm 3 years away from 'officially' dying alone with 40 cats)

I (along with many others) are knitting the revolution. I march at every event I can get to (I had an obligation tonight, otherwise I would have been in NYC).

I'm a campaign staffer ready to land and take the Resistance to the ballot box for a local office.

And learn how to use them? Because those are the ultimate tool in any revolution.

He has moved out now. Learned to shoot at 9. Yes, I can handle a firearm but I don't announce on an open board if I'm armed currently or my willingness to use a weapon. That would put me at the intellectual level of the deplorables.
