He's beatable. And yes, I know that part of NY might as well be Alabama.

4. If you or any DUer lives in Faso's district
Get a card table and a stack of voter registration cards. Go to a local grocery store or mall, and ask if you can set up a voter registration table. Non-partisan, civic activity; what could be objectionable? Then memorize what Faso said and did, bring it up in polite conversation with folks who stop by, and make him pay.

I like your thinking though.

insurance companies, PACs, and individuals. That's why he voted for the bill.

Kind of a tough needle to thread. I wonder who Faso is really answering to with his horrible vote? I hope a lot of people ask him that.

9. The 19th is very energized
People are very upset at Faso and the republicans. The Mountain Top Progressive group started in Nov 2016 has 150 members in a remote corner of Northwest Greene County. At the annual FDR dinner for Greene County we some very strong candidates interested in running against Faso:
• Brian Flynn - Family roots in Greene County and an entrepreneur • Sue Sullivan - From Ulster County with a Medical background • Antonio Delgado - Grew up in Schenectady, a Colgate & Harvard Law grad, Rhodes Scholar and former Hip Hop artist. wife is from Saugerties (Jimmy Fallon’s home town) • Patrick Ryan- 3 generation roots in Kingston NY, West Point Grad with service in Iraq and Afghanistan • Jeff Beals – Harvard Grad, former foreign service officer, teacher in Woodstock • Steven Brisee – From the district People are very sensitive to “carpet baggers” here because it is so easy to have a vacation home while living in NY City. Although the last two democratic candidates were great, they appeared to be outsiders. These candidates for 2018 do not have that problem Some more information on Brian, Antonio & Steven http://blogs.hudsonvalley.com/fray/2017/03/06/democratic-candidates-lining-up-for-2018-runs-in-ny-19/ Faso was not overly liked when he was a member of the NY State assembly, part of it was he moved here to take an icon Clarence D. Lanes seat when he retired. This dislike contributed to why he lost in trying for Controller and Governor of New York. He also lost trying to for Congress the first time and only succeeded by latching on to COL Gibson’s coat tails and the impression that Zephyr Teachout ( a Fordham Law Prof in New York City) was really living in Brooklyn (and that was challenged) and was really from and living still in Vermont. His win was only by 9% Here is a good source if you want to track politics in “this here parts” http://greenedems.org/ BTW, if Faso is stupid enough to run for Senate, Kirsten will destroy him, she is beloved in these parts |

Yeah, I don't know how he faces himself in his bathroom mirror every morning. After doing THAT?
So nice to see how many people on his Twitter page are extremely pissed off, and making him a promise of their own: that they're gonna remember this and take it straight into the voting booth in 2018. Also, there are mentions of his most likely Democratic opponent there, too. The name that comes up most frequently: BRIAN FLYNN FOR CONGRESS Brianflynn.us Lots of folks there are tweeting that they just donated! Like they say in Emily's List - "Early Money Is Like Yeast!" |

27. Wonder if like Collins he doesn't know it takes out NY's special program
https://thinkprogress.org/chris-collins-mark-sanford-read-trumpcare-58c4aa5c01d4
Later on Thursday, Collins admitted that he didn’t know the AHCA will cost New York $3 billion in federal funds — money that’s used to insure 19,000 of his constituents. http://blog.timesunion.com/capitol/archives/270798/governor-n-y-would-lose-3-7b-with-obamacare-repeal/ |
