I posted this yesterday with a different title.

At a town hall this Sunday, Joe Walsh said of opponent Tammy Duckworths military service, Now Im running against a woman who, my God, thats all she talks about. Our true heroes, its the last thing in the world they talk about.
Its time we teach Joe Walsh a lesson about true heroism. All of our Veterans are heroes and we can never recognize them enough for their service.
This isnt about Walsh insulting Tammy - its about the 24 million Veterans who have served our country with honor.
Tell Joe Walsh to treat these brave men and women with the respect they have earned.
Paid for and authorized by Duckworth for Congress

(26,260 posts)From personal experience, I can tell you that women in the military have their own extra set of challenges - let alone what Tammy Duckworth went through, in the combat arena. To have a chicken hawk, dead beat dad with anger issues, like joe, say what he said about her is beyond dispicable.

(5,997 posts)Joe was working the crowd as he walked the route and got within about 10-feet of us. My wife loudly commented that he should respect Duckworth's military and pay his child support. This was in front of my RW parents (Beck and Limbaugh kool aide drinkers), which was sweet! Over lunch, she commented that Walsh was "slimy" and even "smarmier" in person. NICE!
Lunch at the nearby Buona Beef was a bit tense and rife with RW talking points. (Pensions/Holder/Debt/Deficit/Apology Tour and all that bullshit)
