ARGH!!!!! It's as bad as the call-ins on CSPAN!
"Democrats are so out of touch. We never heard them say anything about jobs."
"They think the answer to jobs is to raise taxes on the rich."
"I'm so sick of hearing about Russia. It's been PROVEN they didn't sway the election at all."
"Hillary Clinton is a liar."
"The Democrats aren't doing anything to help the problems."
They can't possibly be paying attention to real news. I think they hear other people's takes on it, and just repeat it.
THIS is what's wrong with the country!!!!!
Just had to vent.

(9,949 posts)...makes me recall their complaint about "Hillary's Message" being derelict. They really only wanted to cover her speech about The Donald. Her message speeches were not interesting - or ratings-grabbers.
and can't believe the b.s. spun by people in one of the poorest areas of the nation. They are delusional!

(6,042 posts)The news reader said Sanders was speaking for Democrats.
It came across as the Democratic Party was criticizing Obama for his speaking fee.
I hope I was mis-hearing.
If you heard it please let me know.

(2,268 posts)Jeez, some people use any excuse to bash Sanders (yet again). There are enough Republican targets.

(6,042 posts)All of the above are media outlets in a position to misrepresent the Democratic Party and public views on democrats.
Sen. Sanders has a role in the party through his appointment by the Senate majority Leader to an Outreach position. President Obama is a democrat and former president whose speaking fee has been called into question by Republicans, other democrats, Sen. Sanders, and media personnel.
To me, countering mischaracterizations of the Democratic Party by the media is important. You may have other priorities. It is not my place to make assumptions about what those priorities are.
If you heard the NPR news announcement to which I referred and can let me know whether I heard correctly.
If not, you apparently can't help me.
