Family values

Just think, if Trump had real family values, he'd spend his weekends in New York with his young son, being a parent. I'm not even going into the seeing his wife thing, she's an adult. But the kid must wonder why "dad" travels to play golf, when he could be visiting his child and showing interest in his interests and schoolwork and taking him places. Poor kid.
Nobody brings this up, because he's made it clear in the past that he's not into child rearing, and because he's a man. Many female politicians have been burned for having young kids at home while they're on the campaign trail.
But I say the dialogue with his fans who have no problem with his golf trip costs is to ask why he can't spend all that money and time on his young son.

but is lousy at the follow-up. Besides, his son is a boy-child. Trump likes girl-children.
