To the public, it will probably mean little, unless the media uses it as a Trump/Russia launchpad Mr. Ected May 2017 #6

I think it's one more thing that will be swept under the rug, no matter how much Yates makes it clear that warnings were issued about Flynn possibly being compromised by the Russians.

what ever it reveals. However, unless there is in independent investigation, there will be massive efforts to dismiss it and it will be swept away if it reflects bad on the tRump fascists.

...everyone knows Trump and his gang are criminals. Republicans will want to have her time restricted by speaking in long-winded deflections. Democrats should ask short, open-ended questions and let her speak. There's always a chance some unintended little tidbit will pop out - like Butterfield and Dean with Watergate.

Which, based on their indifference to 1) Comey's testimony that Trump was under FBI investigation for collusion with Russia to interfere with our election; 2) Nunes' bizarre behavior; 3) Chaffetz's bizarre behavior; and 4) every single thing that has been uncovered by Rachel, Mensch, Tayler, Nance, Schindler, and a host of others, most likely won't happen.

In the end, the Senate Investigation won't make or break this case. If Grand Juries have convened and indictments are in the process of being given out, this case will end up being tried in US District Court or maybe in the state courts.

Comey doesn't seem interested in a Special Prosecutor because of the time lag required. The case wheels are turning NOW and it won't be long until we have proof of it before our very eyes.

I suppose even the known stuff will get media play.

I wish the question would come up about whether Trump told Flynn to make the call. If Trump did, he undermined the foreign policy of the United States. Not only that, it would show Trump make a strong and inexplicable attempt to help Russia. Payback for favors like hacking?

I think the reason Flynn wasn't fired after Yates' warning was because Flynn was only doing what he was told to do. That should be brought up at the hearing.
