In 2011 I woke up to Romney calling Obama a socialist repeatedly in a speech played verbatim on NPR.

I have barely listened to NPR since.


Journalists used to think it was news merely to report what people said. But then the GOP figured out that blatant lies could exploit journalists that do that. Today's news means reporting the truth. (I'm paraphrasing David Corn of mother jones. He gets it.)

and their announcers rarely challenge right-wing bullshit. Sometimes the bias is subtle, but it is there.

They need to change their call letters to SOFT-SPIN (R).

In the name of "fairness" they will rip into Dems/Progressives to supposedly represent both sides, but wit RWers, they bend over backwards to both help them with their RW memes but make additional attacks on the opposition view.

They must own the publishing company for her new book. She hasn't changed............talking like she knows what she's talking about without saying anything or adding to the conversation. The peter principle at work.
