Want to know why/how BAD Trumpsky's EB-5 visa EO really is?

No mention on the news of what should have/could have been one of the biggest scandals in decades -- except for that it involved Bernie Sanders and Patrick Lehey during an election year. You never heard of it? I'm not surprised. Google "Jay Peak and Q Burke to see just how bad the potential for abuse of the EB-5 visa program can (will) be in the hands of the real estate development families Trumpsky and Kushner. Huge.

The scandal involved multi-billion dollar real estate developments in a couple of tiny Vermont towns, wherein the developers sold off visas to Chinese and Saudi investors in exchange for investment in the lavish resorts (Q Burke was halted after the main hotel was finished and the scandal became exposed; it sat vacant for over a year until a group of investors bailed it out and re-opened it under it's original name of simply Burke Mountain Resort -- we stayed there this winter. It is lavish beyond all reason for such a small mountain in the middle of nowhere, but doesn't even compare to what they did at Jay Peak). The original scammers took the $500,000 (and more) investments and funneled much of the money to other private projects in areas that did not come close to complying with the provisions of the EB-5 visa program. When they finally got caught, it threatened to close down both ski resorts. I've also stayed at Jay Peak, now probably the nicest resort on the East Coast, except for maybe Stowe. Maybe.

This EB-5 visa program in the hands of the Trump family of criminals is a guaranteed recipe for fraud on a massive scale. Jay Peak and Q Burke are all the evidence you need.

Besides, it's the photos of Jay Peak and Q Burke that make it fun. Beautiful resorts which arose out of run-down shacks which drew mostly local visitors. Jay Peak is insane. Best snowboard/skiing in the east, and a resort with a year-round water park with retractable roof and two Flow Riders (named one of the top ten water parks in America on Travel Channel...at a ski resort), new skating rink, both hotels have beautiful heated outdoor pools open year-round, Jay Peak has an excellent golf course and not one but two beautiful new hotels and a performing arts center. Again, this is in a "town" that barely exists, tucked up near the Canadian border. Imagine what will happen with the EB-5 program in the hands of the Trumps!

6. $500,000 is the starting price. It's in the EB-5 law.

Any foreign investors willing to pony up at least $500,000 for a project that will bring jobs to "depressed" areas can get a green card.

8. Another angle; Kushner's EB-5 project was for LUXURY APARTMENTS in New Jersey.

Now, make all the jokes you want about New Jersey being a "depressed area," but Kushner didn't even try. He was soliciting money from the Chinese, in exchange for visas, to fund a luxury apartment complex in New Jersey!

At least in Troy, Vermont (Jay Peak), it truly is (was) a depressed area, with no industry, not nothing. A gas station and country store, with some cheap motels servicing ski bums. Now it is home to a five-star resort. It has undoubtedly brought jobs, and is bringing in visitors and money which would never have bothered to make the very long drive to Northern Vermont.

But how does a luxury apartment complex in New Jersey fit into the guidelines of the EB-5 visa program?
