Could President Obama be asked to testify before the Senate subcommittee now?

I was just thinking with today's revelation and Trump's admin smearing of Obama it might be a good thing if Obama were to testify as to whether he warned Trump on Flynn. Did today's news open a door to that possibility?

Blue Dress Case had him on a Private Disposition which was latter used by either the Senate or the House.
