Comey gave Trump the election!

He talked shit about Hillary for a year now - and tells us he can't say a word about Trump!

Tom Brokaw nailed it - Comey is a very, very bad man. We got some justice tonight!

And if you all will read Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein's memo, you will see is citing EXACTLY what WE have been saying for a year now!

Sessions signed off on the memo, Trump signed off on Session's letter - and that sick shit Comey is outed as the piece of shit he is!

had to see a letter from the FBI go out correcting "misstatements" the FBI Director Comey made under oath - about emails and Huma Abedin!

At some point, reasonable people have to acknowledge this clown Comey has no credibility!

If he came out and said, "No evidence of Trump collusion - case closed," who the hell would believe him?

Sessions recommended firing Comey because Deputy AG Rosenstein laid out a compelling case - almost irreversible damage to the credibility and standing of the FBI as a public institution.

We have been pointing that out for a year!

It doesn't change for me because Trump obliviously fell into it! Which seems to happen a lot!

He used Rosenstein's personal opinion (along with the opinions of other AGs) as an excuse for the firing because he couldn't find a legitimate one of his own.

One can believe that James Comey acted improperly in the past and that Donald Trump fired him because he is investigating him and getting close.

for a wild ride. He's complicit. Papen was used. I think McCONnell is using tRump as much as tRump is using him.

Franz von Papen (German: [ˈfʁants fɔn ˈpaːpən] ( listen); 29 October 1879 – 2 May 1969) was a German nobleman, General Staff officer and politician. He served as Chancellor of Germany in 1932 and as Vice-Chancellor under Adolf Hitler in 1933–34. He belonged to the group of close advisers to President Paul von Hindenburg in the late Weimar Republic. It was largely Papen, believing that Hitler could be controlled once he was in the government, who persuaded Hindenburg to appoint Hitler as Chancellor in a cabinet not under Nazi Party domination. However, Papen and his allies were quickly marginalized by Hitler and he left the government after the Night of the Long Knives, during which some of his confidantes were killed by the Nazis.

the head of the agency that is investigating the president. The president did this fifteen minutes before that agency was to hand down subpoenas that were likely to implicated the President in the worst crime against the American government in our generation.

The point is that the president is acting in a way that indicates he is intending to proceed as if he is not accountable to anyone. In a way that is forbidden for the president to act.

This is a lot bigger than the politics of the moment.

to steal personal data had no widespread implications. Colluding with Russia to steal an election does.

But - it's not an existential threat to the U.S.. We have many strong institutions. France easily overcame the Russian interference once it was out in the open, and tRump is the product - I'm now convinced - of the last hurrah of the backlash from the huge social changes since the 60's. Time and the actuarial tables will take care of the worst of it.
