THE odds of Donald Trump’s presidency lasting until 2019 have tumbled after FBI Director James Comey was sacked by the Republican.
President Trump’s odds of holding onto power on betting site Predictit fell by 6 per cent amid claims his sacking of Mr Comey were part of a political “cover-up”.
The odds of President Trump lasting until 2019 were slashed to 68 per cent, according to the website.
Predictit – which operates like a stock market – saw vast numbers of users lose faith in the President’s ability to hold onto his position of power, with many expecting him to either step down or be impeached.
