Does Comey's hasty firing indicate he may have been coming close to Trump himself?

In ust a few days Trump likely ordered the review of Comey, accepted the recommendations of that reviews, and fired Comely.

Everyone is questioning the timing.

Could it be that Trump suspected that Comey was coming dangerously close to finding conclusive evidence that Trump conspired with the Russians?

Perhaps Trump was aware of where the F.B.I. was snooping, associates told hi of questions they'd been asked, or Trump may have a mole in the F.B.I.

Result: Next Tuesday (if he is still alive) Comey can go behind closed doors at the Senate Intelligence Committee and reveal the new information.

is how he treats people. He's a dick, an asshole, a "killer" as his father mentored him to be...and he knows it. One person - Manafort, Page, Flynn, even Bannon - turns on him and he's done.

Whatever is there (probably money laundering) assuming something is there - he knows he has no protection. No loyalty. He demands signs of it but he knows that only his kids will be there at the end.

Look at Dick Cheney. By all accounts an asshole himself BUT he had actual friends who were loyal. Scooter Libby took one for him protecting him in the Plame scandal. Trump doesn't have that and he knows it.

4. If trump thinks getting rid of Comey will end his troubles, he ain't seen nuthin' yet.

The people who have received briefings that included classified information know way more than we do. Their reactions have been priceless when they had behind closed doors briefings. Some people know the real story and are not going to conveniently forget or move on just to make tRump happy. A lot of us ordinary citizens have been able to keep up even though there are many pieces to this puzzle. Journalists are going to pursue this story, no matter WHO wants it killed.

tRump could do us all a favor and just resign now. But his ego and Narcissism won't allow that to happen. So if he wants to handle it the hard way, so be it. But no matter how much he kicks and screams, throws out distractions, sends out his minions to tell us their "facts" and insists that we move on, this investigation is going forward.

Woodward and Bernstein have made a living off simply doing the dirty work. There are some good old fashioned reporters and good news operations and they smell blood in the water.

Some of the old timers are still around plus a bunch of new ones, eager to make their names in the world of journalism and history. They are invested in getting to the truth and nothing tRump says or does will stop them. Too much has already come out about this and it is not going back underground. In spite of the snakes that occupy DC, there are still some folks there that want the truth. The future of our country is at stake and they won't go down without a fight. I just hope they don't drag this out because every day this goes on tRump does more harm. He (and anyone associated with him, including Pence) need to be gone.
