Where's my former govt employees, vets, and others who've served this country?

And secondly, how is all of this trump hosting the Soviets in the Oval Office and all of the trump/russia making you feel these days?

I worked and kept a high security clearance for years and all of this selling out of what we used to fight against is killing me. I worked to keep people like this out of critical positions. I conducted investigations that often times resulted in people losing their clearances. My only hope is that there are still professionals in place who will fight this and who have not gone soft and/or joined team trump.

This hurts and feels so personal.

....during the height of the Cold War. We fucking despised the Soviets and anyone who stood a border watch knows what motherfuckers they are.

One of the border squadrons. Spent 14 months there. Artillery FO for a battery of M-109A1's.

You guys were going to draw them in on Autobahn 6. I was out of Erlangen and we had the high speed avenue of approach through Graf to deliver the hammer blow. That was during the 80s before DS/DS and the fucking Soviets got real quite after we smoked Saddam's T-72s in the desert.

Now we have a compromised Soviet agent in the WH and fuck that posing clown.

Where does this thing end? How deep does it go? Will the perps walk and forever tarnish our democratic republic?

We knew who the enemy was, and it would have been unimaginable that the Russian press would have access denied to the US press in our own White House.

I was an intel analyst in the Army stationed in Germany then deployed to Desert Shield/Storm. In that capacity it was my job to know as much about the enemy as was possible and that enemy initially was the USSR, then Iraq. The enemy is now within our borders. We have a traitor running this government with his co-conspirators and the party of Reagan (you remember "trust but verify" Reagan), is doing nothing but placing roadblocks in the way of real investigations into this executive branches' collusion with the Russians. Russia is doing this just to fuck with the uppity US. Trump and his group of cons are playing way above their experience level and Putin is the master they don't understand. For them it is about money, for Putin it is about making the nation that humiliated the USSR look like a bad Keystone cops movie...so far he is right on track.

That there can be no doubt among anyone on the Left or the Right, that Russia is, and always will, be utterly hostile to the West.

I remember a time when the President of the United States understood and cared about national security. Trump doesn't care.

That scares me to death.

And I'm ashamed of what passes for civilian government these days. I didn't spend 20 years of my life for assholes that required personal loyalty oaths, I did it for the country that helped my family succeed and the Constitution that kept them from being bonded servants to some sociopathic aristo whose family made money off rents and serfs.
