'A Nexus Between the Russia Investigation and the Firing of Comey'

U.S. Senator Kamala Harris is calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign. The California Democrat says "there's good reason to believe that he was not truthful when he testified before Congress" about his dealings with the Russians. Shortly after being sworn in as Attorney General it was discovered Sessions in fact had met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak but denied doing so during a confirmation hearing.

But Senator Harris did not stop there.

The former Attorney General of California and former San Francisco District Attorney cited Sessions' signing off on the firing of FBI Director Jim Comey. Sessions, in an effort to reduce calls for his resignation after lying to Congress, promised to recuse himself from all things Russia and all things related to the Trump campaign. . . .

Donny will certainly try to pick someone worse than Sessions but that's not a good enough reason to allow him to continue as AG.

answer about the question of Sessions staying out of the Paul Manafort investigation. She asked five different ways today and they won't answer.

Manafort is Russia

So, it appears that Jeffie in involved in the Manfort deal and likely has his thumb on the scale.
This means that the WH knows everything that is going on with Manafort.

Also, the implication is that Manafort has been flipped and is working with the government. I hope he is well guarded and in a safe house. The problem - Sessions will know where that safe house is.

I know.......I know.......but IF HE WAS an honorable man, he would never have taken the position in the first place. He looked like he'd been crowned Miss America before being sworn in. That stupid little "aww shucks" grin on his face hides an abundance of lies and distortions. With everything else that's going on I think it'll be tough to make him resign though. He wants to be AG more than he wants to breathe. For him, it's the icing on the cake of an otherwise uneventful career.
