Not the rocker, but the teabagger, Rep. Joe Walsh. Since he is behind on child support payments, why doesn't the state of Illinois come after him for back payments? They know where he is and it seems to me they could very easily garnish his wages until he's paid up. It would do his credit rating no good, but he has no credibility anyway.
I can tell you that in Iowa, they don't play around. If a guy owes back child support, they're going to get it. A friend of mine owed several thousand dollars and when his mother died, he got her house. The state took it as a partial payment. It was in a ghetto but it was still a house and he wanted to fix it up and sell it. Anyway, he finally got paid up and no longer owes the state, but his credit rating isn't the best. Walsh should have his assets seized as well, even though he's in Illinois. He's no better than anyone else, even though he thinks he is.

He doesn't owe it anymore because he paid up and made a nice settlement to have his wife agree to stop calling him a deadbeat dad? That's what it sounds like to me.
