We need to start asking ourselves why are Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell so reluctant to call for an independent investigation into this tsunami of lies and deceit.

And why did Chaffetz run from the FBI probe into "campaign finance fraud"?

Did the Russian money train make a few stops at the RNC's station too?

And they want to dismantle Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, ObamaCare, WIC, etc.

But they'll settle for just the tax cuts if they have to. Once that's done, then they'll be glad to drop 45.

They are taking great risks attaching themselves to someone as unpredictable and erratic as Trump. I can imagine that they are planning how and when they'll jump ship, but there may not be a good time.

I think Ryan is that stupid in his ideology.. McConnell, is guilty of taking the money...

And no, I'm not excusing Ryan - he would take the money if he could - I just think he's more easily played in a "cheaper" manner...

I think Ryan is a true ideologue, stuck in some high school mentality, and McConnell is pragmatic and greedy, not burdened by any philosophy or creed.

The Russian money train stopped at the Republican National Convention! Just because McConnell, Ryan and others weren't seen on camera, doesn't mean they didn't meet with Kislyak or one of his aides(FSB)!

Others may be on film that is in the hands of the Russians, which would explain their reluctance to call for an independent prosecutor!

Remember, Ryan and Cruz were not big fans of Trump, what would motivate Cruz to jump on the band wagon, especially after Trump insulted his wife and father? And Ryan is a man motivated by how much he can get, his loyalty can be bought!!!

RYAN
GOP super PAC linked to Paul Ryan used illegally hacked material against Democratic House candidates: report
The New York Times reports The Congressional Leadership Fund used info leaked by Russian hackers in campaign ads

A lot of people don't like or trust Louse Mensch, but she seems to have quite a few in-the-know sources, so I'm going to post this anyway with the priviso that it be taken it with a grain of salt, just in case. The article is much longer, but this is the relevant part re Ryan:

GET READY FOR PRES. HATCH
... On Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House, normally third in the line of succession, I can report as fact that sources say that Ryan has been legally intercepted, and is on tape, admitting that he knew Russian money was being laundered into the Republican party. Without co-operation pending resignation Ryan may find himself swept up into a RICO prosecution involving the apparatus of the Republican party who accepted laundered Russian money.

This report is a clarification of what I have previously said I had heard on Twitter; namely that Ryan himself was taped at the Republican convention talking to Sergei Kislyak accepting Russian money into the campaign. Following the unconstitutional dismissal of patriot FBI Director Comey by Sessions and Trump, sources have become more forthcoming. It was, they say, Reince Priebus who was taped talking to Sergei Kislyak and other Russians at the convention, agreeing to accept laundered or disgused Russian contributions, and Speaker Ryan is on a later intercept admitting that he knew of this plot, which places him at risk of a large number of criminal charges. A RICO case is being examined against the GOP itself, sources say.

CHAFFETZ
Louise Mensch again, but others corroborated it:

Sources say there is kompromat on @jasoninthehouse; that this is why he turned and that @fbi know it. #traitorinthehouse

They don't want to upset their idiot base by bringing Trump down.

At some point when it becomes obvious he's just a seething pool of piss on the ground they may step in and take control.

And then take credit for saving the country, I'll bet. 😡
