I would not be shocked if he has recordings of his meeting with Comey. If so, I would expect them to be digitally manipulated in an attempt at fraud and intimidation, further deepening his immersion in the cesspool of obstruction of justice.
I do not think that he will succeed. I think he and his crew of Neanderthal goons have once again miscalculated, their ignorance relieving them of the realization that the FBI lab will almost certainly be able to expose their efforts.
He is now throwing hail Mary after hail Mary.....anything he can think of, because he is a desperate man who knows he has been caught red handed committing serious crimes. He realizes that the only possible way out of it is to cause a a public uproar over his "mistreatment", leading in his delusional and desperate mind to the investigation being dropped. In his mind, the drivers of this uproar will be his supporters having been whipped up and brainwashed into not believing the FBI, the CIA, and the press, and to blame Obama and his holdovers for dreaming up and executing this attempt to take him down.
