Trump's late brother Fred is apparently looking down, saying "Just keep doing what you're doing."

In an interview with Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro that aired Saturday, Trump spoke about the influences of his brother, who died in 1981 at the age of 43.

Trump has noted before that he learned from his brother’s struggle with alcoholism. The president said he’s confident his brother would be proud of his work in the White House.

“He’s telling me, ‘Just keep doing what you’re doing because we’re having a great impact,’” Trump said.

“Fred would be looking down and he would say, ‘Keep going,’ and I would tell you if it were different,” he added.

From the New Yorker

Even when it comes to a sick baby in his family, Donald Trump is all business. The megabuilder and his siblings Robert and Maryanne terminated their nephew’s family medical coverage a week after he challenged the will of their father, Fred Trump. “This was so shocking, so disappointing and so vindictive,” said niece Lisa Trump, whose son, William, was born 18 months ago at Mount Sinai Medical Center with a rare neurological disorder that produces violent seizures, brain damage and medical bills topping $300,000.

For Freddie's children suing the rest of the family for exerting undue influence on the patriarch, Fred Sr., who suffered from dementia in his last year, to change his will to cut his eldest son Freddie's family out of his rightful inheritance. And guess who worked on revising the will that cut Freddie out? Why none other than Donald J.
