All those loyalty oaths - How they affect the White House

It looks like Donald Trump has a penchant for extracting loyalty oaths from those who work for him. In the White House, though, that's creating a situation that creates more problems for Trump than successes. Stories about people not telling him things because those things "upset" The Donald are indications that Trump isn't dining from a full plate of facts most of the time.

In many ways, Trump is like Kim Jong Un. Like Kim, Trump is easily pissed off, which means that people who tell him things he doesn't want to hear often feel his wrath. So, they just don't tell him such things. Instead, they stand around like Kim Jong Un's generals, smiling and nodding, regardless of the nonsense that comes out of his mouth.

Most Presidents rely on their staffs to give them the information they need to make reasonable decisions. Trump, with his loyalty oaths and outbursts of childish rage, relies on his staff to tell him what he wants to hear. And so, they do just that. Then, when the moronic things Trump says backfire, The Donald flies into another rage and blames his oath-taking staff for not keeping him informed.

Sorry, Donnie. You can't have it both ways. Say goodbye, now, Donald. Resign before everything falls apart and you are removed from office in utter disgrace.

Resign, Mr. President. It is the best option available to you.
