Also, he worked on multiple Democratic campaigns.

BTW in 1993 when Claude Taylor was apparently disqualifying himself as a source of raw information per this diarist’s odd priorities because he only made $35,000 a year in the Clinton Administration, I was only making $125,000 as a sportscaster at ESPN.

As always there’s a lot of stuff online and all of it should be taken with a grain of salt. Mr. Taylor would even agree with that. But if he says there are two grand juries including one in the DC area, and five days later the FBI Director matter-of-factly confirms the bureau is “cooperating” with two prosecutors including the one for the Eastern District of Virginia, and John Dean — who knows more about grand juries and presidents than everybody else in this country combined — thinks there’s nothing else they could be cooperating about in Virginia except a Grand Jury, I think it contributes to Taylor’s credibility on this story, and I’ll disseminate it as I did.

I would point out that one of the stories I was proudest of during my years at Countdown was “The Nexus of Politics And Terror” about the odd coincidences of timing among Bush terror warnings and stories, and Bush political vulnerabilities. Without checking my files I’m not sure exactly where I got the raw timeline data for that one — which was met by abuse and doubt from the Bushies (until Tom Ridge later confirmed its essential point). I think the site was called Daily Close or something like that.

10. Be Realistic

I've been on DU since 2004. I've seen stuff like this time and again. For his entire 2nd term, I read how Shrub's days were numbered. How members of the White House would be brought up on charges. How possible WAR CRIMES were committed, and that if he did make it through his term, there was still a great chance Shrub or his minions would be indicted down the road. I guess I missed that.

If people want to get all excited about the latest miracle that's about to happen, go right ahead. The OP is not the only one who thinks this is a pie in the sky fantasy, which will never develop.

If it does, I will be among the first to say I was completely wrong. But if it doesn't, will all those who said that THIS TIME IT'S REAL, going to come and say they were wrong, and they won't get carried away the next time some "dream scenario" is rumored?

If there was any there....there.....the mainstream media, Dumb as they are, would have picked this up. Hell....they report plenty of stories that turn out to be false, so the fact they won't touch this one, means it is not even potentially real.

a new Democratic Congress, more to the point, if Trump's terrible polling continues to drag the Republican Party down with him.
